Yael Stone

Stone was born and raised at Sydney, Australia. She went to Sydney's Newtown High School of the Performing Arts, and she attended the National Institute of Dramatic Art. Stone began her acting career as an infant, playing roles in the movie Me Myself I and the mini-series The Farm. Her main focus was theatre. She was named the title of Best Newcomer during the Sydney Theatre Awards 2008 and Best Supporting actress for The Kid. The television show she appeared on featured support performances in All Saints, Spirited and other shows. She also starred in The Diary of a Madman. This role earned her a second nomination to the Sydney Theatre Awards as Best Supporting Actress. In February 2011, she travelled in New York to perform in the Brooklyn Academy of Music's production of The Diary of a Madman, before returning to lead roles in A Golem Story, Summer of the Seventeenth Doll, as well as As You Like It in Sydney.
